A natural base of the crystal clear sea and deep channel, more than
20 meters in depth, The port of Yeosu & Gwangyang is situated in an ideal location,
and further, the island of the Myo-Do serves as a natural breakwater blockng high waves.
The route for ships leading to Gwangyang Bay is easy without any navigational hazards and well marked by buoys and lights. The proficient pilots and the guidance of VTS staffs will make all vessels comfortable.
Vessels bound for the port of Yeosu & Gwangyang should inform their local agents of their ETA 72hrs, 48hrs, 24hrs and 12 hrs in advance, so that the port authority be notified arrangements made for pilot, tugs or berth etc. by the agents.
